The trio’s members are all trio excellent instrumentalists and instrumentalists. As a result, the journey through repertory has been a fruitful and gainsay one. This semester the trio primarily pore on Beethoven’s op. 87 trio, which is a chanceful singsong repugn to the best. Additionally, the polyphonous layering is consistent through pushing through most of the movements and provides a huge equilibrise challenge for all regions. The Beethoven trio turned out to be an idea composition for the trio and they did excellent wee-wee on it. Catherine is both an adept clarinetist , technically, and a natural and refined musician on the instrument. She treats the clarinet like an extension of her own voice (it is no surprise that she is such a beautiful singer, as fountainhead!) and always puts intention, meaning and emotion behind her playing. She has evolved greatly with her rhythmic sophistication and rarely lands caught up with syncopated and mixed rhythms anymore.

In addition to Catherine’s wonderful musicianship, she is a kind, adjuvant and corroboratory influence on every group she has ever compete with. She treats all close to her with respect and warmth.
